Assignment 3/1- Digital Collage/fantastical landscape.
Dream a little dream of me.
To me, when making this fantastical landscape my thought was about the colors of a dream, a way to introduce the past, but in a way that can be very much present in this digital age. It was exciting to know that I can create many layers within layers and that altogether will reinforce the depth, one of my main intentions with this project, that can only be accomplished by the use of this new tools and techniques on photoshop. I painted mainly the background and smudged some images on front of the background, and also drew on top of already existent images to alter the image and give it a more dreamlike essence. There are many details hidden in this collage, as well to get an aerie look of how a dream can feel if it was seen by someone who is awake.

By being able to create a landscape with digital drawing and painting, I came to realize how much stretching can happen when it becomes digital. The essence of drawing and painting is still existent, but it gets wrapped by the infinite ways to draw, smudge, erase, as well to know that whatever changes you create can be edited as many times as intended.
